Manager - Clinical Research Coordinator

The Manager - Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the clinical supervision of the Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) and will serve as a clinical resource person for the CRCs within the Cottage Health Research Institute.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Research Administration or other equivalent field preferred.

Certified Clinical Research Coordinator or equivalent.

Intermediate user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Prior database experience.

4 years of progressive experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities associated with research coordination, clinical research development and/or monitoring. Expertise in clinical trial management, presentation development, and study recruitment planning. Experience working with large, enterprise-wide clinical studies and CTMS reporting systems. Experience working directly with grants administration and/or financial management and audits is essential, as is an in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations that impact the sponsored projects environment. Experience working in a financial compliance/audit environment at an institutional/enterprise level. Experience in educating, communicating with, and supporting researchers and staff in an academic/hospital environment. Contract negotiations experience a plus.
