Under the direction of the Epic Program Director, manages Application Analysts for the Revenue Cycle Applications. Ensures that the implementation of Revenue Cycle Applications are consistent with Cottage Health System policies and procedures. Responsible for staffing each application with Analysts who complete Epic application certification and are knowledgeable of Cottage Health Systems policies, procedures and business operations.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in clinical information applications and systems in health care may be substituted for a degree.
Epic certification (1) to be achieved within 3 months of training. One or more certifications in Epic Revenue Cycle applications such as ADT/Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Billing or Tapestry.
Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows and applications. Skilled in Microsoft office tools, maintaining project plans, project scope, developing and maintaining issues lists, identifying and mitigating project risks, assigning tasks and monitoring progress via status reports .
2 years leading teams and managing revenue cycle projects in a health care environment.
