Renders direct and indirect patient care under direction of appropriate licensed personnel. Facilitates care to meet patient's daily living activity needs by providing physical and clerical support, coordinating activities, and communicating effectively. Provides personal self-care and activity programs to patients and contributes to the operation of the unit. Responsible for completion of unit competency assessments and, if appropriate, annual education review. This role also promotes our commitment to a culture of excellence and professional first impressions to patients and visitors by providing hospitality and general information.
CPR/BLS required; CNA/EMT/MA preferred. Basic computer skills, knowledge of office systems, practices and equipment is required. Also requires basic medical terminology, ability to use proper grammar and spelling while providing excellent customer service.
