Develops and maintains course curricula and supporting training materials for assigned application to include integration of policies, procedures and Epic system functionality into the tools. Builds, tests, and maintains the training environment and planning and overseeing the day to day activities of the assigned application team. Trains both credentialed trainers and super users as well as end users and new staff. In conjunction with the Training Manager and Learning Coordinator, develops the training schedule pertaining to assigned application. Participates in the design, build, validation, testing and implementation of the assigned application. 

Qualificaitons:

LEVEL OF EDUCATION 

Minimum: Associate's degree/Diploma in nursing. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in instructional design, computer sciences, information systems or education. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Minimum: Current RN License. Epic certification is to be obtained within 3 months of training completion. 

 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum: Ability to design and print materials conducive to disparate learning styles. Proven skills as an instructor/presenter, group facilitator and team player. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to nursing. 

Preferred: Working knowledge of Instructional design models. experience with Adobe Acrobat, Visio, Captivate, SnagIT and Learning Management system.
 
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE 

Minimum: 3 years of adult education and 5 years experience as an RN/LVN. Experience with computer applications in healthcare. Preferred: Experience developing instructional curriculum.
