Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, provides accounting support in the accurate and timely completion of financial information reports.

Job Duties:

Safeguards the assets of the organization through accurate and timely reporting and recording of accounting transactions.

Ensures that invoices, statements, or receipts are accurate and sent timely to customers.

Ensures timely collections of non-patient account receivables.

Provides support in the preparation of the monthly financial statements.

Conducts research and gathers relevant information to complete projects and reports.

Analyzes and reconciles various general ledger accounts, with emphasis on non-patient accounts receivables.

Prepares audit schedules and provides support during audits of various kinds.

Assists and/or works on special projects with Accounting Manager.




Minimum: Associate's Degree in Accounting, an Accounting Certificate, or a combination of education and applicable experience using the standard of two years of experience equals one year of education.

Preferred: Bachelor of Arts or Science with emphasis in Accounting or related field


Minimum: Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

Preferred: Basic training and skills in report writing, database management or Microsoft Access; technical writing skills.


Minimum: One year of general accounting experience

Preferred: Two years of general accounting experience with one year in computerized accounting system; Two years of experience in accounts receivables, collections and customer service.
