Cottage Health has been a leader in Santa Barbara County for many years, and was recently recognized in the top 10 best places to work in healthcare by Fortune.  As a non-profit healthcare system we are dedicated to the well-being of our community and beyond.  We’re currently in need of an experienced Manager, Clinical Resource Coordinator for the clinical supervision of the Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs), and to serve as a clinical resource person for the CRCs within the Cottage Health Research Institute.


The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, Clinical Research Coordinator Certification; intermediate MS Office skills, and prior database experience.  Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Research Administration or other equivalent field preferred.  Must have 4 years of progressive experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities associated with research coordination, clinical research development and/or monitoring. Expertise in clinical trial management, coordinator effort reporting, and study recruitment planning. Experience working with large, enterprise-wide clinical studies, Clinical Trial Management Systems, and working with pre/post awards. Contract negotiations experience a plus. This position will involve 10% - 20% travel.
