JOB PURPOSE

To plan, direct, and evaluate the purchase, preparation, and production of food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions to ensure that the standards of safety, quality, and performance are maintained.

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently:

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Minimum: ServSafe Certificate or California Food Handlers Card 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Sufficient training in the culinary field 

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 5 years
